Fagaras Massif
From Bucharest, Brasov or Sibiu city transfer by mini-bus to Balea Waterfall Hotel 1234m and hike up to Balea Lake chalet 2035m. Walking time: 3 hours, medium. Will spend the night in front of the glacier lake Balea at 2000m altitude. Unfortgettable! The next day will hike up a famous peak Vanatoarea lui Buteanu 2507m. Spectacular view to Fagaras mountains! Walking time: 6 hours, medium. Back to the car and transfer to Bucharest, Brasov or Sibiu city.
Piatra Craiului National Park
From Bucharest, Brasov or Sibiu city transfer by mini-bus to Piatra Craiului National Park and hike up to Curmatura chalet 1470m. Walking time: 3 hours, easy. Curmatura hut is famous for hospitality and good romanian food. Incredible scenery, peaceful valley. Next day will go down trough Zarnesti gorge back to the car. Walking time: 3 hours, easy. Transfer to Bucharest, Brasov or Sibiu city.
Ciucas Massif
From Bucharest, Brasov or Sibiu city transfer by mini-bus to Ciucas massif and hike up to Ciucas chalet 1600m. Will spend the night in comfortable mountain hut in front of the sharp rocky mountains. Walking time: 4 hours, medium. Next day will continue the hike to Red Mountain chalet 1280m and back to the car. Walking time: 3 hours, easy. Transfer to Bucharest, Brasov or Sibiu city.
